'Nikita is an American television series that has aired on The CW Television Network since September 9, 2010 in the United States. Based on the French film Nikita (1990), the remake Point of No Return (1993), and a previous series La Femme Nikita (1997-2001), the series focuses on Nikita (Maggie Q), a woman who escaped from a secret government-funded organization known as Division and, after a three-year hiding period, is back to bring down the organization. The main cast also includes Lyndsy Fonseca, Shane West, Aaron Stanford, Melinda Clarke and Xander Berkeley.

Alex tries to help Irina escape from her captor and their old boss; Vlad, a Russian mobster, but Irina betrays her and has her captured by Vlad, who has a debt to settle - as well as believing that Alex is Alexandra Udinov; the exiled daughter of a deceased Russian leader and heir to "Zetrov"; his massive business empire. Alex's past is revealed and it is confirmed she is Udinov, and Nikita and Alex have kept her old identity a secret to prevent Zetrov or Division from hunting her down. Alex lies, however, and says she is not, to not reveal her past and wait until Nikita rescues her. Knowing about Alex's old drug habit, Vlad uses that so Alex can reveal who she really is. As Nikita tries to save Alex, she runs into Michael, who is also searching for Alex. |Michael shows up at Nikita's lair and tells her he knows that Alex is the mole within Division. Michael threatens to tell this information to Percy unless Nikita helps him find and kill Kasim Tariq, the man who killed Michael's family, in the next 24 hours. After making a deal with Ari Tasarov and the Gogol organization, Nikita finds Kasim and kidnaps him. She calls Michael and says that she will give him her co-ordinates if he will give her the location and guardians of the seven black boxes. Michael calls about 8 hours later and tells her that he has the information. While in the house Nikita kidnapped Kasim in, Kasim manages to alert his fellow 'agents' using a Division-made device. Soon after they show up, Michael arrives at the house and kills them. As he's about to kill Kasim, Kasim says "I'm not who you think I am." Nikita realizes what this means, as it explains how he managed to operate the Division device - Kasim is a former Division agent; having been part of an operation started by Percy to infiltrate a terrorist group by killing an American intelligence officer: Percy told Kasim to kill Michael, but he ended up killing Michael's family instead. However, when Kasim realized what kind of a man Percy was, he quit and joined the terrorists fully. Michael is shocked and horrified by the news, and leaves Nikita to kill Kasim. Michael, devastated by Percy's betrayal and years of manipulation, resolves to get revenge on him, and so secretly turns on Percy and joins Nikita to take Percy down, starting with Michael agreeing to join in Percy's planned move against the government. Meanwhile, Alex is conflicted over her feelings for Nathan; she tries to break off their relationship to protect him, at Nikita's advice, but cannot. In the end, Nikita and Michael are seen finally reuniting fully.|

|Frustrated that Nikita continues to intercept his black boxes, Percy sends Michael to check on one of the boxes and the guardian attached to it. Nikita makes it to the small Pennsylvania town first and is shocked to find that the guardian is a normal woman named Dana who has abandoned her post and is attempting to live a normal life with her husband and child. Tensions mount when Michael is forced to report Dana's actions and Division swarms in to clean up any evidence of her existence. Meanwhile, Alex and Jaden get into an argument and Nathan gets caught in the middle. Jaden gets killed after finding out that Alex revealed information about Division to Nathan. At the end of the episode, Alex gets caught by Amanda, after hearing Alex's conversation with Nikita through an ear piece Jaden had been wearing.|

After not hearing from Alex in a while, Nikita asks Michael to check on her, which ends up getting Michael trapped in Division. Percy releases Alex after showing her a video of Nikita killing her parents and telling her that she will be monitored full time. Alex goes back to Nikita asking her if she killed her dad. When Nikita doesn't answer the question, Alex shoots her.|

The black box that is given to CIA has the nerve toxin inside it, rigged to release when anyone cracks the encryption and opens the Operation Sparrow file.
